Future team

The people who may help build LUMG

As the academy takes shape, LUMG wants to understand who could contribute, in which areas, and in what form. This is an early conversation, not recruitment.

No positions are open at this stage. Expressing interest is not a job application, offer, appointment, or promise of employment or payment. The academy's start date and future roles are not confirmed. Any future opportunity would depend on the academy's plans, funding and approvals, and on a separate discussion and agreement.

Who may express interest

  • Primary and secondary teachers
  • Subject specialists in the learning areas
  • Coaches in sport, music, performance and the arts
  • Technology, AI and coding practitioners
  • Entrepreneurs and finance professionals who mentor
  • Sustainability, energy, agriculture and food-system practitioners
  • Education leaders and curriculum, accreditation or student-support advisors
  • Operations, administration, finance, facilities and partnership professionals

  • Open to discussing options

You can be based in Suriname or elsewhere. The questionnaire asks, optionally and without obligation, whether a move to Suriname might be something you would consider.

What happens if you express interest

LUMG keeps your answers so the team can understand the range of people interested in the academy. If there is a relevant next step, someone from LUMG will contact you. If not, you will not be contacted. See Privacy for how your information is handled.
